The practice of morning prayer can be traced back to the earliest believers. Throughout history, the commitment to prayer at daybreak has taken many forms, but the primary motivation has always remained the same: Before the issues of each day rush in and demand our attention, we come together to turn our hearts and minds to the God who loves us.
We gather Tuesday at 8 am and Thursday at 7 am for prayer. We take this time to center our hearts on the risen Christ and lift up the needs of our neighborhood and world.
We welcome all who wish to come!
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3 (NIV)
